Month-long celebration of the 2022 Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) officially commenced at The Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) yesterday, September 5, 2022, along its three (3) campuses: Main Campus, Bangued Campus, and La Paz Campus.

To express its commitment towards public service excellence, ASIST formally and unitedly conducted the Opening Program of the 2022 PCSA celebration during the flag raising ceremony in each of its campuses. At the Main Campus, highlights of the event include the Flag Ritual, Panunumpa sa Watawat, Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gobyerno, Awit ng Serbisyo Sibil, Announcement of the Activities, and Messages from the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Noel B. Begnalen, and ASIST Academic and Administrative Employees Association (AAAE) President, Dr. Nero M. Paderes.
Dr. Begnalen reiterated that the administration alone cannot achieve all the goals of ASIST. To realize what we envision for ASIST is a collaborative work of everyone. It is everybody’s responsibility to close the gaps towards sustainability. The VPAA reminded the crowd that they are not just ordinary people but are servant-heroes.

Meanwhile, ASIST President, Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., graced the program at the Bangued Campus. Dr. Turqueza thanked everyone for all the services they shared to the Institution. The President also motivated administrators, faculty, staff, and personnel for the further continuity of their services towards the transformation of the State College into a State University.

La Paz Campus, on the other hand, virtually joined the celebration with the Main Campus, not letting the event pass without providing their own means of honoring public service.
