Inclusive education ensures that all children have an equal opportunity to attend school, learn, and develop the skills they require to flourish. It entails placing all pupils in the same classrooms and schools. It means meaningful learning chances for traditionally excluded populations, such as children with disabilities and speakers of minority languages.

University of Abra (UA), formerly Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology, received its very first and significant international recognition from the prestigious World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2023, landing at Ranks 201-300 at the Global Top Innovative Universities.

The economic struggles of the Abrenios highlight an urgent need for alternative income sources. In response to this challenge, a groundbreaking project on oyster mushroom farming emerged in the Province of Abra, addressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on poverty alleviation and decent work and economic growth.

Being one of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Cordillera Administrative Region, the University of Abra proudly hosted the second phase of the Project Cordillera Heritage on February 7-8, 2023.
